I wanna clarify: that was rhetorical, not just a shitpost. My point was that realism should only go so far if it inconveniences the user. If you're adhering to real life just for the sake of it then you might as well include that other pointless feature too, since you can do that in real life without a mask on.

I think there can be a certain amount of unreal ism in SS14 without it needing to be super strict, like being able to play instruments with a mask on. Also it's happened in fiction before (Green Ranger and his Dragon Dagger/Flute through his helmet)
