Incorrect number of threads found, BUG? using the yCruncher

Open Ohn1K opened this issue 6 months ago • 2 comments

Hello, when I start CoreCycler either the latest stable version or the latest alpha it doesn't change the outcome. Every time I try CoreCycler with yCruncher it throws up this error while starting the yCruncher but not actually recognising it? logs are down below

Hm. Does it work with a different stress test program like Prime95 or Linpack?

Also, does it work if you run it from a different directory not on your desktop, e.g. something like C:\Overclocking\CoreCycler?

Prime95 works but weirdly enough even without any overclock (stock) or changes to the config file it pops error about not using cpu power anymore - ERROR: 11:14:31 ERROR: There has been an error while running Prime95! ERROR: At Core 0 (CPU 0) ERROR MESSAGE: The Prime95 process doesn't use enough CPU power anymore (only 0ms instead of the expected 2000ms) ERROR: The last passed FFT size before the error was: 10240K ERROR: Unfortunately FFT size fail detection only works for Smallest, Small or Large FFT sizes. Same with LINPACK

ERROR: 11:19:09 ERROR: There has been an error while running Linpack 2018! ERROR: At Core 2 (CPU 4) ERROR MESSAGE: The Linpack 2018 process doesn't use enough CPU power anymore (only 0ms instead of the expected 2000ms)

The app says all this but the CLIs are working separately and passing tests without any problems. I have also tried what you suggested, running in other environment than desktop and it sadly didn't help
