Scrolling Broken

Open LucidLuxxx opened this issue 9 months ago • 4 comments

In the latest update, the terminal window that displays when you run the .bat file doesn't allow me to use mouse wheel to scroll. I have the older version on my PC still, as I'm using that version to build a GUI and scroll wheel works fine. It only seems to be the latest version. I have to click the scroll bar on the far right side of the terminal window and drag it up or down. I'm on my phone and can't figure out how to label this as a bug so it's unlabeled for now lol sorry.

I noticed this too, it seems to be a side effect of the functionality I added that disables the QuickEdit Mode in the terminal window.

I'm willing to live with that, since the QuickEdit Mode was responsible for quite some issues where users accidentally marked something in the terminal window, and the whole script stopped as a result. And as you mentioned you can still scroll up using the scroll bar itself, so it's a nuisance, but not a major road stop.

I still plan to look into it if there's a way to restore the scrolling without re-enabling QuickEdit, but I'm not sure there is.

For some mysterious reason scrolling is working for me in the local developer version again. But I have no idea why, because I haven't even touched this. 😵

Weird. Personally I don't think it's a big deal. I've been trying to figure out GitHub file organization. Tried forking 0.10.0.0alpha5 and then adding my GUI files to it but it's updating my fork to your current version. So I just uploaded alpha5 as my own repo until I figure out how to stop it from auto updating to YOUR latest version. Otherwise Everytime you update, it will break my GUI lol. New to GitHub dev. I've downloaded programs from GitHub but never really setup my own repos and whatnot.
