Unable to save project using local SVG on web app

When I build web app and try to load local SVG a "read-only" message appears and it is not possible to save project. I guess Google Drive is the only way to have save feature enabled. Is it possible to use https://github.com/eligrey/FileSaver.js as a backend? Anybody with the knowledge/time/resources to implement it?
