awesome thanks, I did not notice that bit... never code at 2am :D I have added switch to use "grid" mode with videos and photos.

@douvido I have just applied a very temporary fix. I am unable to spend more time on it right now - will make a better fix when I have some.
Since it's all a work in progress, if I make changes you have to re-download the code and to reload the extension inside the browser. When (and if) things are stable, I will make a definite release, maybe also for Chrome.
I just spent a few minutes making some tests. It seems some queries that were working yesterday are no longer working today. For example "spouses(4)" is no longer returning zuck's wife. Furthermore, the intersect operator works only for some queries. For example, intersect(employees(id1),likers(id2)) does not return results when it should

Sometime FB don't return the same results for everybody. Also something can work one day, don't work the next day and the day after is working again. 🙃

I can find stories liked by a user. However, I am not seeing stories liked that are in a group. I have tried STORIES_IN_GROUPS_KEYWORD: "stories-in-groups-keyword", but nothing seems to happen. Any advice?

I think you are making some confusion between the two tools. The Firefox extension does not have any "most recent filter". It is made to replace the search made via the web interface with the one you set in the extension. Please refer to the README for more information and examples.

sorry if this is obvious, but just to add for those wanting to narrow down the date. i am accustomed to using today, yesterday, this-week, last-week, etc, to indicate a time frame and found they work perfectly in the extension. with or without toggling the date on the facebook options for the month vs anytime.

Has rather limited utility but you can search for results relating to an individual's friends by replacing 'FB_ID' with 'friends(FB_ID) in several enquiries. I've had it work with:
photos-of(friends(FB_ID)), photos-by(friends(FB_ID)), photos-liked(friends(FB_ID)), stories-by(friends(FB_ID)), stories-tagged(friends(FB_ID)) and pages-liked(friends(FB_ID))
Note: This only works if the individual in question has their friends list publicly visible.
