Quotes with extra content

I'm running into a small issue with notion quotes when the quotes contain extra content. Take this example:

I'd expect this to be rendered as this:

> SMART is a proven goal-setting methodology.

> - **Specific:** Clearly defined and detailed.
> - **Measurable:** Easy to determine whether the goal was accomplished.
> - **Attainable:** Something you can accomplish with hard work.
> - **Relevant:** Aligned with your other goals.
> - **Time-based:** Linked to a time frame.

Instead, it's coming through as this:

> SMART is a proven goal-setting methodology.

        - **Specific:** Clearly defined and detailed.
        - **Measurable:** Easy to determine whether the goal was accomplished.
        - **Attainable:** Something you can accomplish with hard work.
        - **Relevant:** Aligned with your other goals.
        - **Time-based:** Linked to a time frame.

This causes my renderer to interpret this content as a code block instead.
