Are you referring to a specific popup window? Which options/settings are not remembered?

I think for some options it's sufficient to have a sensible default, if one rarely needs to change it, so not all options need to be persistent?

This issue is probably too broadly/vaguely formulated - could you instead submit more specific issues, for the options you really need to have persistent, and for one specific dialog (or closely related group of dialogs) at a time?
