Remember position
Is it possible to start at the same position on the screen where the app was the last time, before it was closed?
One thing to be mindful of with this feature is that on MS Windows, there’s a chance that due to changes in window arrangement or display configuration, an application window could end up in an inaccessible area of the screen — for example, hidden behind the taskbar or completely off-screen. Normal users might only know to fix this by closing and reopening the app to reset its position, so we need to carefully consider whether it’s worth implementing this feature.
If we do move forward with implementing this, it’s important to also record the number of connected displays and their resolutions at the time. Otherwise, for users with laptops who frequently connect and disconnect external monitors, this feature could cause a lot of trouble.
Alternatively, start the app at the default screen or at the screen with the mouse cursor during the time of starting the app. Right now, it seems to start at the left-most screen (KDE and Gnome).
Done. You can download the latest CI build from GitHub Action
Thank you! This seems to work.
Can confirm that remembering the position works with the latest build. Thank you so much for this!
The first start of the app was still at the left-most screen, not the primary screen or where the mouse was while starting the app. @love-linger is that something you'd also consider implementing in the future?
