Provide NetworkGhost on F-Droid?
Hi!
on F-Droid (the open source APP store for Android) unfortunately currently no app exists that can change the mac address. I found yours and wondered if you would be open to submit it there?
Marius
I see that the main developer isn't very active the last days. So I hope it's ok, if I would propose the following. @moosd: would you please react to this request within the following two weeks; and if you don't/can't I hope it would be good for you, that your silence means consent, and the F-Droid request: https://gitlab.com/fdroid/rfp/issues/92 could be seen as complete.
Hey, sorry I haven't been as active here as I used to, university work getting in the way! I'm happy for this to be submitted to f-droid :)
Thanks a lot, all the best for the university work and please keep up your enthusiasm :+1:
Sorry, me again. Seems your used binary RootShell.jar is a little show-stopper. A person (relan) on the f-droid packaging request (https://gitlab.com/fdroid/rfp/issues/92) wrote: "Required libraries should be added via Gradle dependencies from trusted repositories or in the source form". By the way, I saw there is a new RootShell version (1.4) out there: https://github.com/Stericson/RootShell/releases
So, would you probably consider to build the RootShell source yourself, instead of importing the binary?
Fwiw this is on the izzyondroid fdroid repo already
@moosd do you still maintain this app? Last commit was more than 3 years ago. And F-Droid couldn't even build the last release: though it's tagged v1.2, the app/build.gradle still says versionName 1.0 and versionCode 1.
@moosd any hint?
