Issue with auto-expand/auto-collapse not working properly

Describe the issue:

Currently and seemingly at random the autohide feature stops working by itself from time to time and only comes back when I click "Show sidebar" on the top button in Firefox. Currently it keeps itself hidden (icons only) unless I hide/show it again.

Expected behavior:

The expected behavior is that the sidebar collapses and shows by itself and expands by itself on hover.

Platform/Desktop:

• OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2
• Browser Version: Firefox 131.0

Hello there! Love the project, it's been amazing to have the sidebar feature these past months before a full implementation by the Firefox team happened. I'll probably keep on using it until theirs works as well as yours, @soulhotel . Thank you a lot for the time you dedicated to this project. It's a wonderful addition of functionality to Firefox :)
