When Using Ctrl+Left/Right, cursor gets hidden for too long.

Description

When using Ctrl+Left or Ctrl+Right to navigate current prompt, the cursor, indicating my current position gets hidden for the duration of 2 blinks.

I have tried different themes.

Expected behavior

I'd expect the reverse to happen - the cursor should stay on for 2 blinks instead.
