Bash script - grouping info

I am not familiar with bash script. I was wondering how I can do the same thing as the bash script that stores grouping information if my data are in a pandas dataframe. There is a row "qid". In order, to be able to calculate the ndcg... I tried to modify the code, but did not succeed.
