gettext neede for english?

gettext is per definition only for NON english; So is it neede for POMMO also for the english version anyway?

Hello @marc666,

We can't make gettext a requirements just for some languages. Since gettext is used in the code it doesn't matter which language you are on, it will be executed every time. Let me know if you need to explain this better.
