Flac playback and 64 bit floating point support.
Greetings,
I'm using Android version of your app and my experience is really great so far. It's an amazing app. I want to thank all the developers who worked on it.
So far I have experienced one issue and have two feature request. My issue is the app plays WAV files at definitely good quality. It's amazing. But MP3 playback is not working. It does not show their length on the file playback control panel after file selection and play/pause button does nothing for MP3 files. My first request is, the app does not allow me to choose FLAC files for playback. I have tried with several file managers i including my Android's default one and FLAC files could not be chosen in any of them. I would be glad if you add FLAC playback support to the app. My second request is, can you please add 64 bit double precision floating point PCM support to the app? I would really appreciate if you can solve my issues and take a look at the features. Thank you again for this amazing work.
There are some definite issues with the android app and loading/saving audio files. It all works fine on the other platforms....
I have no plans of adding 64bit float as an audio sample format, it is complete overkill for any kind of data transfer purposes. 64bit float is only ever used internally in audio mixing engines (if even then), and not at all for storing of audio data.

64bit float is being used more. It is not only useful in artistic capture - but scientific applications. If you are capturing sonar from a whale using high end mics - you want flac 64bit float. And what tools are the scientists going to use for this? Why not Sonobus.
