Android crashes after rotation, and buttons are cut off the screen

Simple as that, rotate and it crashes, i can open in landscape, i can open it is portrait but rotating while running will cause the app to crash. the app also has buttons and items cut off, so it is impossible to click on them. Running android 12 on a pixel 6 pro.
