Audio sounds extremely distorted and choppy/clipped through SonoBus

Hi,

I have successfully gotten two machines to link up using SonoBus, from Windows 10 on a VM to macOS. I set both buffers to ~2 seconds and SonoBus shows no dropped packets. However, the sound quality is not good at all, and sounds like something is clipping.

Is there a known way to fix this?

Thanks!

Changing the source side to Windows Audio (Low Latency) appears to fix it, but changing it to Stereo sending breaks it again. I am using a VB Audio Cable.

EDIT: Using ASIO4ALL works in Stereo.

I also have this issue

EDIT: It worked when I changed sample rate to 96000 Hz

Sound quality is controlled by "Send quality", try the PCM versions. Drops (reported under the name of the party sending you audio) occur when the audio packets arrive too late so make sure the network connection is stable. Clipping should be reported by the input meter with a red line.

This is probably more a support request than a SonoBus issue, not sure it belongs here.
