Mac installer requires Rosetta 2

If I understood correctly then SonoBus 1.4.4 introduced Native M1 support for Mac.

However, it seems the Mac installer actually requires Rosetta 2?

The "installer" is just a standard macOS .pkg file which is opened by the system Installer.app. Where are you seeing something that concerns you? The actual SonoBus application after installation you should be able to see is a universal application.

This is what I get when I want to install SonoBus 1.4.6:

Hmm. It’s possible that one of the plugins isn’t universal and may be triggering that. Regardless, it doesn’t hurt to have Rosetta installed anyway just in case other software may need it. Once you do the installation you can do a Get Info on the SonoBus application itself and see that it’s universal and won’t use Rosetta.

I am actually interested in running the DAW plugins natively (without Rosetta 2 installed)

I just checked and everything (standalone and all the plugins) are universal (ARM64 and x86_64), so I'm not sure why the installer throws up that warning. I will re-iterate that everything SonoBus installs will run native on M1. Just having Rosetta installed does not mean it will necessarily use it for anything...
