Ability to hide an app and change the display order of them

Open lzccr opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Currently, Junction allows adding an app to the chooser by clicking on view all and then selecting an app, however it does not allow me to hide an app that I no longer want to use to open this type of file.

Improvement ideas:

  • It would be better for Junction to have the ability to hide an app
  • It would be even more better for Junction to have the ability to reorder the apps

Junction would be more user-friendly if it has those two functions.

Came here to ask for this exact same thing - reordering and hiding. So, +1 from me ;)

Removing added apps can be done by deleting them in ~/.var/app/re.sonny.Junction/config/mimeapps.list, but this way you can't hide default apps (like a specific browser).

I have already asked a similar question before. It would be great if you could hide browsers that you have only installed for testing purposes: https://github.com/sonnyp/Junction/issues/154
