QA: Check at Startup?

How soon if I want to use wpkg-gp-client sync at startup?

Can I have it to delayed or scheduled to run on check for update of wpkg if needed? Does WPKG-gp-client attempt to install after check? or it will notify user to install? For some packages, if I want to have it executive on every startup (check HDD status), will they run?
