how can i test this patch without rebuild the image? can this applied on a running system? currently using SONiC-OS-202411.768299-645a40f54 and experiencing multiple container restart after adding a subinterface

You can copy paste the changes in config.bcm file present inside the device directory and reboot the switch: For example, if you are using Dell S5248F and HWSKU is DellEMC-S5248F-P-25G, the file to be edited is
- /usr/share/sonic/device/x86_64-dellemc_s5248f_c3538-r0/DellEMC-S5248F-P-25G/td3-s5248f-25g.config.bcm
