Is edge-core AS5916-54XKS supported by SONiC?

This might be the same case for AS7716-24SC from edgecore. It is a switch ponder and is not listed in the supported devices but in the data sheet of Cassini they have said that any open source NOS can be installed and configured on the Cassini.

@ham-xa that's a StrataXGS / Tomahawk ASIC which is a different family to the StrataDNX in the 5916. @vishnubraj did you inquire with edge-core and get any answer?

Arista supports Jericho 2 on their 7280CR3-32D4 so this should be feasible and only a matter of SWE time to build and test on edge-core's part
