No relation with DID, it's just a safe store for password so users don't need to enter password to unlock.

"Pseudo-random function extension" (PRF) is part of Level 3 specification at the moment, which is an Editor's Draft status. We have to wait for that to implement biometrics support.
There are still some state issues cross browser-restarts. Re-opening this issue.
