Adding the portfolio section using a new title

Hi - thanks for the great template. I have a quick question. I hope you can help me. I created this website: https://igu-population-geography.netlify.app The reproducible code is here: https://github.com/igu-population-geography/igu-population-geography

I want to change the title of "portfolio" for "events". I edited the config.toml file for this but the section is not rendering. What else is needed? Do I need to replace portfolio in the style.css file for this?

I also changed the name of the portfolio folder in content for events in case. But as fas as I understand this is irrelevant to what what I want.
