On the file you mentioned there doesn't seem to be any way to do it. https://github.com/somini/Pixelvision2/blob/master/resource/layout/overlaydesktop.layout On the entire skin, the only way to input steam:// URL seems to be on the menus, so I guess that means it's impossible.

So, it's not possible to add custom links in this theme? Steam resets its overlaydesktop.layout file on every start
