Was this brought up somewhere? I think this should probably be taken up by people sufficiently familiar with (actually comparable?) specs out there. I'd suggest to close the issue and if anyone feels the need to share such information they can publish an article about it somewhere.

I think what you say is that this FAQ should not be part of the spec? If so, we could move it to https://github.com/solid/information/, maybe?
