Error when clicking WebID-TLS login

Open renyuneyun opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

I encounter an error when clicking WebID-TLS login (on both Firefox and Chromium), but got no idea why this happens and/or how to resolve it:

error:1420410A:SSL routines:SSL_renegotiate:wrong ssl version

I also found this old post in the forum, but there was no answer or discussion: https://forum.solidproject.org/t/log-in-with-certificate-webid-tls/1323

Clicking the WebID-TLS login button on solidweb.org gives a different but more meaningful error to me: No client certificate detected. (You may need to restart your browser to retry.) This is expected, because I really did not configure WebID-TLS -- I'm planning to learn how to use it / how it works.

I presume this is some NSS configuration / version issue?

Thanks for looking into this @bourgeoa. but I do not see how that relates to the answer... Do you mean that WebID-TLS is not yet implemented (after another year), as concluded by that post?

Since last 2 years, I have been doing the maintenance on NSS and I haven't seen anything related to WebID-TLS.
