Test suite doesn't work with recent libpcap versions

The test suite fails to capture any packets received on the Linux system using libpcap 1.6.2-2 (Debian Jessie) but works on a Jessie system downgraded to 1.3.0-1 (pulled from Wheezy).

Could be an issue with Debian's libpcap, need to investigate.
