explorer: Allow arbitrary search from a query URL

Problem

There is no query URL to run a search in the explorer, but must be manually pasted into the search bar on the explorer home page.

Proposed Solution

Add support for one. This will allow for quick integration into custom tools or quick-search functionality from outside an existing explorer tab.
