Getting intermittent failures due to invalid reference

Hi I was wondering if this is known issue or not. Our builds fail often with this error but I'm not sure why. Usually rerunning the job one or twice sometimes three times resolves it. I would love to know if there is proper fix or if there is something we can do to mitigate this. Thank you.
