UX improvement needed: credit status bar not accurately reflecting degree status

Since total_credit in degree_status counts all the credit (including overflows), a student that did not complete all of the requirements might still see 100% completion in the credit status bar. This lead to some confusion among a few students.

We need to think of a solution with a better UX for this case.
