UART output using TUNE function

If I use the TUNE function (e.g. in Thetis), the UART of the HL2 sends out tons of DATA with the actual frequency. If I use MOX it is not so, there is no data up to change the VFO frequency. I'm not sure if the background is the firmware/gateware of the HL2 or - maybe - Thetis.
