Hello @kumarashit. I wanted to contribute to this issue. As i am beginner in Open source this all seems a little overwhelming and I wasn't able to find a beginner friendly issue till this one! (as it looks). So, can u pls help me here and guide me what we have to do in this one !

Hi 👋 I want to contribute to this issue so can it be assigned to me. This is my first issue and there are a few queries

  • where exactly this legacy code is located?
  • And which env information is needed I am not getting it?

@verma-kunal @akhilsahuji SODA Foundation started as OpenSDS project. In many locations in the code the word opensds or OpenSDS is used.
Some of these may be documentation or license files, which may not need testing. For ex: https://github.com/sodafoundation/multi-cloud/blob/42850828ce0581eb2881016598f5b1a93926dd3f/api/pkg/s3/bucketacl.go#L1

If it is part of the code then you may need to ensure that the change from opensds to soda does not break something, For ex: https://github.com/sodafoundation/multi-cloud/blob/42850828ce0581eb2881016598f5b1a93926dd3f/api/pkg/s3/bucketput.go#L22

There may be more such occurrences across the code that need to be changed.

Both of you can start working on this issue since there are many locations where these changes need to be made. make the changes, test your setup and ensure everything is working.

You can find the developer guide for installing mutlicloud locally here
