https://docs.sodafoundation.io/soda-gettingstarted/installation-using-ansible/ can be used for the latest version release.

First you can install only delfin on Ubuntu 18.04 which is already supported. Then you can install on Ubuntu 21.10. It may give certain errors due to version mismatch. You can start looking into the same and try to fix. You can also ask questions in slack https://www.sodafoundation.io/slack/ to clarify or add here as comments

you can use virtual box for installing ubuntu 21.10 on your existing machines (windows/linux) without formating or partitioning the system
