Allow for updating datasets containing columns that cannot be updated by DataSync and leave those columns blank

At least unless/until you implement #168 (Allow for updating image columns), it is not possible to use DataSync to update datasets that have such columns and possibly other column types. However, a useful change the in meantime, which probably would be easier to implement, would be to allow updates to such datasets as long as the new/changed rows left blank the columns that DataSync cannot update. That would still be quite useful.
