fan_only not working properly plus minor problems

Open Smandurlo opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Hi, I am integrating 3 CS-TZ25WKEW and they work almost good, but the fan_only mode isn't. When I use that mode, the AC doesn't change the mode and HA returns to the previous mode after a while.

There are other minor glitches:

  1. there is a nanoe switch, but it seems the AC doesn't support it
  2. the power and daily power sensors are not working (wrong values or just 0)
  3. if the AC is offline, HA doesn't show the change and it is showed as turned off

Thanks for your work!

I have several variations on CS-TZ25WKEW (a 20, a 35 and a 50) and I think that the fan only mode doesn't exist on the official app either. So I think the first 2 issues are the same issue, the mode doesn't exist on the device.

My power sensors and device availability work OK , so I can't comment on those.

WOW I checked the app and you are right: NO FAN ONLY! So yes, first 2 are the same issue.

Maybe power sensors depends on the external units? 2 splits are connected to 1 external unit and the 3rd is connected alone to another unit: the 2 together have not working sensors, the 3rd has an unavailable sensor.

Device availability doesn't really work and I suppose it is related, again, to the app :-(

@Smandurlo please try the latest version and see if it works better (it has better feature support checks) and if it doesn't, reopen this issue or create a new one.
