GeoJsonLayer - need better explanations

What are the source IDs and layers supposed to be? Could really use some better examples of how this is to be implemented please.

I've been struggling with this as well and echo the need for functional examples. Looking at another issue I was able to make some modifications to someone else's codepen and get a basic layer rendering. My comment is here: https://github.com/soal/vue-mapbox/issues/121#issuecomment-507376507
