Close minize maximize buttons too small
Initially the buttons were box shaped and it was easier to click on them

now the small ones are not easy. Also the distance between two elements is too small

I axed the box style to reduce excess padding in the header.
It looked great. The small ones are difficult to get right. I have closed important windows that i wanted to maximize. Is there a way to get them back. Can we poll what your users prefer?
I also enjoyed the boxed buttons
I also liked the boxed ones best
For the record: I love them how they are currently and wouldn't want them to change. :-P
Maybe we could have two themes?
I'd do a poll, but this is a dictatorship. :wink:
@snwh Is paper going to be optimized for touch (ie Unity8) because in that case I'd think the larger more Android style "boxes" might make more sense, unless the system will automatically increase the button size and paper will just roll with it.
Well Paper wouldn't run on Unity8 since it's not a GTK desktop. Also, if touch users find the small buttons problematic I may reconsider.
I've been able to test the latest version of the theme out on a touchscreen (11" screen at 1920x1028) using gtk+-3.20 and the buttons are big enough to hit properly, but I wouldn't make them much smaller. Hope that's of some help?
Accessing my desktop with my tablet via VNC, I think the buttons are really hard to hit.
Though the DPI might be fucked up since my monitor is 27" and my tablet is 7". But the boxed one's where much, much easier to hit with my tablet.
I managed to bring back the boxed buttons, without altering the padding
Is there any chance to have this as an alternative theme? I really like the boxed buttons better.
(maybe i should just do a fork in the meantime)

Great work +1
@TheBITLINK Please fork :+1:
