Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed
Since installing MacType I've been getting error messages saying:
"Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed"
when starting applications. Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a solution?
Where did you see this popup as mactype has no user interfaces? So either you see this error on every application or what you refer to as "mactype" is actually "mactray.exe"?
I'm running mactype as a service. The message about readprocess/writeprocessmemory refers to the executable with the problem (e.g. Outlook.exe or whatever else). This happens sometime when applications are started just after boot/login.
Which OS are you using as we still lack the support of Win11 right now?
And the only place mactype does WriteProcessMemory call is the child process hook call. If you're using some anti-virus software, try again with them off to see it that's the culprit.

Problem only happens randomly to one or two applications shortly after boot/login ...
The only AV I'm running is Windows Security.
