Custom add-ins are removed every upgrade

I've got several own handlers created in /usr/lib/node_modules/homebridge-knx/lib/addins/ however they are removed after homebridge-knx upgrade.

I have the same issue (of course). I wrote a handler for a Fadini Combi 740 gate opener that might be of interrest to more people. As Apple Homekit doesn't have support for gates, it represents the gate as a garage door, but other than that I'd say it's quite OK. Any chance of adding this module to the repo?

Sure! please create a pull request here and I am happy to include your add ins. Most add-ins are community work here! I did some samples and some I needed at home only.

But if you don't want to share, user Luehrsen shared the ability to have local add-ins with us: Pull request #161 , since v0.3.23 available in homebridge-knx
