Diagnostic Information not showing unless switching Tree mode
Description Hi! I have an application with binding leaks, regular POCO properties are used in Binding operation without INotifyPropertyChanged. This is displayed as a Warning in Snoop, but the warning does not appear in the list unless I switch from Visual to Logical tree and back. Additionally, not sure what is the difference in terms of diagnostics but for example with my app Snoop shows 25 messages in Logical Tree and 24 in Visual Tree.
Environment
- Snoop: 6.0.0
- Windows 11
- .NET 10
I can't reproduce your issue.
At which point during your application lifetime do you attach Snoop? Do the binding leaks already exist at that time or do they happen after you attached Snoop?
Please note that the binding leak diagnostics are not updated live but only when the tree is refreshed. The tree can either be refreshed by switching trees (which you did), by explicitly hitting the refresh button or by some mismatch between the selected target and snoops view of the current tree.
Regarding different counts of messages: Which message does appear for one tree but not the other?
