Destreamer for Sharepoint Recs?
There are some Recs that have URL like "communitystudent<>.sharepoint.com", can Destreamer download them? I tried to put this URL but it shows me the error "invalid URL". Sharepoint is compatible with this program?
Destreamer is capable of downloading from SharePoint but your url is in a new format that is not currently recognized. If you could provide a comlete example (censored if you prefer) I can update the url check and include yours too,
I use Sharedown to download Sharepoint's videos. https://github.com/kylon/Sharedown
Maybe you can use the ideas to fuse it in destreamer
^ That app worked great a few months back for me when this one proved useless!! I believe the video was also hosted on a URL formatted as [companyname].sharepoint.com
But today the video I needed was an old one (back when Microsoft still used web.microsoftstream.com url's in our organization) so I needed destreamer 🤷♀️ (and Sharedown said it was an invalid URL)
EDIT: It seems our organization's Teams now saves videos with the web.microsoftstream.com URL again, just like the old days?? 😵💫 Flip-flop, flip-flop...
In my case it seems to work with sharedown ( told by tipicoenlauniFB). I'm downloading right now, if there are problems i'll report it here to let anynone know if it works or not.
I also have problems.
I am trying to download a video which is read only, with pattern:
https://[subdomain].sharepoint.com/d16861bb-00ff-3d48-bf61-9536c48f1792
destreamer is launched but does not accept the url:
[WARNING] Invalid url 'https://units.sharepoint.com/d16861bb-00ff-3d48-bf61-9536c48f1792', skipping..
Fetching videos info...
unfortunately, the token d16861bb-00ff-3d48-bf61-9536c48f1792
does not work with web.microsoftstream domain either.
Such a terrible idea fencing educational videos in education.
Hi @gg4u, it seems like we attend the same university.
Two years later, I find myself facing the same problem... Did you happen to find a solution?
Thank you
