Thanks for raising this. I think we should just handle this better in the UI. In this case we could truncate the name, or break it into two lines. Do you see any reason why that wouldn't be a good solution in your opinion?

This is a good solution for that :) Then there is no need for a length limitation.

btw this is a issue aswell in the notifications UI. Especially because when the name gets to long its no longer possible to remove the notification (I always have to edit the html to make the name shorter before I can remove the notifications of people with long names)
