snipe-it Category based prefix with auto increment asset tag number

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I liked snipe-IT because of its features and aesthetics however the one feature which I am missing very badly is the category based prefix with the auto-increment asset tag number during creating a new asset. The asset management tool I am using in my organisation has this feature and it has the auto-increment asset tag with the category-based prefix. For. eg, Laptop category should start with prefix "LP" and then the auto-incremented asset tag number which will look as "LP10123". The other example for the monitor would be "MON17654" and for access point would be "AP09865".

You need to understand that we identify the type of device just by knowing its prefix which helps us a lot not required to log into snipe-it.

Note: We consider every item as an asset and not as an accessory and snipe-it allow us to use every item as an asset so thank you.

Describe the solution you'd like Give option for adding a prefix while creating a category in snipe-it. The default prefix will be applied if it is set in the asset tags setting page.

Describe alternatives you've considered If the above solution is going to take time to implement plz provide some resolution by your end.

@Prathameshhankare We have over 600 open GH issues at any given point in time. You have to be patient. This has been requested before, but it's a non-trivial change to make, so it will take time.
