[Feature Request]: Default Label QR Code Scaling Thickness (Brother TZe 12mm)
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
My current workflow use old label engine with brother TZe 12mm tape with format like attached picture below
To print the label properly, I need to tweak the setting below
Sometimes different browser or different browser version might messed up the layout and I need to re-tweak it again, So I decided to try out the new label engine and give it try
After tweaking the setting like attached below, I managed to make it work similarly like before
Describe the solution you'd like
So far I'm satisfied with the result except that the QR is so much harder to scan and I think it was caused by the thickness of it, is there any way to reduce the thickness a little bit after scaling it down.
The reason I use page dimension 0.92 inch way much larger than 0.47/12mm is that I think there are QR scaling problem and I just cannot make it work like I wanted, maybe I am just not aware of the correct setting
I also think that page margins for bottom and right is also not working, or I might just confused about how it work

@snipe New Label Engine use TCPDF to generate the QR right? is the Old Label Engine and New Label Engine use same Error Correction settings? Currently is there any way to change the error correction settings? https://tcpdf.org/examples/example_050/
Currently I am unable to make the generated QR code height to be less than approximately 0.76 inch, is it by design or bug?
Currently we don't have anything to resize a QR code. I will see what I can do though
@Godmartinz Thanks, really appreciate that
I think the current setting use 29x29 module size with Low Error Correction, I think adding an option to set the module size to 25x25 or 21x21 and set the Error Correction level might help for some use case like mine
Update: I think in my case Version 2 25x25 is not even enough to store the data
