[Feature Request]: EULA signing options

Open baj90 opened this issue 3 years ago • 5 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

We really want to use the EULA functionality in Snipe-it but currently it just doesn't work for our situation.

Now if a new employee starts at our company he or she will get multiple assets checked out to, these are the problems:

  • Person gets an email per checked out asset individually and needs to sign a EULA per asset
  • Person needs to login to SnipeIT to sign the EULA
  • Person needs to sign the EULA at his/her own computer with a mouse = weird signatures

Describe the solution you'd like

  • Option to set up a EULA with multiple assets
  • Option to let a new employee sign the EULA at for instance the HR department in the account of the HR manager (with a signature tablet)
  • Option to turn login on or off to sign the EULA
  • If in a later stage the employee gets more assets, he or she will receive an update that there has been a change in possessed assets and will need to accept or decline the change. The change will be stored in the already signed EULA.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Print a document with all the assets that are checked out to the person, scan the document and upload it under the persons account. = waste of paper

@bashulsbosch I am also after similar/same features.

I would like to confirm this would be a very useful feature not necessarily just for EULA's but any Terms attached to receiving an Item from inventory.

This would be a great feature and improvement to the EULA check in/out process
