Custom fields are not available on users at this time, but it's something that's in the works.

I see what you mean. I'm not really sure how we'd do that, since they're single fields on the asset table, so they'd need to be stored in one field....
As we're looking at this, it's possible that the duplicate name with different categories is actually the thing that's happening here. @mselavarasan - do you have full multiple company support...
I guess this seems fine, but all of our tests, we weren't dropping users in the first place. (See the piles of screencasts associated with those changes)
