diffreport() 'rtrange are completely outside of the retention time range of 'object'

Hello XCMS team,

I have encountered a strange error while running the diffreport() function. I have four classes of samples (two treatments at 0h and 4h) that I am working with and when I give the first class at 0h and 4h it works no problem. However, when I give the second class at 0h and 4h to be compared I get the following error:

7 of the specified 'rtrange' are completely outside of the retention time range of 'object' which is (118.912002563477, 1865.43005371094). The first was: (1984.75964935011, 2204.75964935011!

Any clue as to why this might be happening?

Hi, did you do a retcor() on that ? Can you check the graphic of that, to see whether the correction was overshooting ? Can you try without just to check if that was the issue ? Yours, Steffen
