An error occurred during playback

🐛 Bug report

What issue are you facing

All musics, including those liked and those appeared in the search page, aren't playable. For each of my attempts Auryo always prompts "An error occurred during playback". Besides, I'm using my own client key which could be used on other 3rd-party clients like Soundnode. I've checked my proxy and it works fine.

Steps to reproduce

Just clicking on the play button for every song.

Environment

macOS, using the binary from the official website.

Which Operating System?

macOS 10.14.6

Which version of Auryo?

2.5.3

Try and use a new client key, as it may be expired.

@Superjo149 I've tried few different client keys, including those used in youtube-dl's soundcloud module (and these keys proved to work in Soundnode with working playback function).

Bump on this issue. I pulled my own client key out using the network tab and the software said that it might be invalid. Used the chrome extension afterwards to try to pull the key out and while the software started after clicking the link the extension provided the key didn't show up in settings.

Trying to use the software now I can only play songs on a playlist that shows up in my stream tab called "auxparty-queue" but doesn't seem to exist on Soundcloud. Every other song I try to play causes the message "An error occurred during playback to appear.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Try entering an invalid (?) clientid either through settings or by using the Google Chrome plugin
  • Try streaming any song

OS: Windows 10 10.0.18362 Build 18362 Auryo Version: 2.5.4
