Problem with the contents of the downloaded Zip file being empty. And please add an On/Off option for Zipping
My point is all in the title. Everything has been working fine with this add-on, but with this update, everything is no longer possible. The files that are forced to be zipped, the resulting zip file with nothing in it.... Even if the Zip file works fine, I do not want the file to be Zip'd. Please give the user the option to turn it on or off for each user in the options.
In the meantime @NeoKune you can install the previous version again by grabbing the zip file from https://github.com/sneat/patreon-downloader/releases/tag/1.0.8 and following the instructions for how to load an unpacked extension from https://stackoverflow.com/a/24577660/191306
I'd be interested to know what patreon page used to work but now isn't in the zip form, are you able to send me a link?
Hello! Yes, I am a member of the board of directors of the company. I am using the old version of the add-on. Patreon is not a page you can see in the free Follower.
Zips works for me here, but I think the performance of it (compressing?) is very bad.
From the popup showing "complete" to the files actually being downloaded (not too big, the zip is ~70M), it took surprisingly very long time (more than 10s).
Zips also didn't work for me (I'm on Linux Mint). Version 1.0.8 worked fine. Thanks for this extension, @sneat
