[instructions on how to add a new silo to bridgy.](https://github.com/snarfed/bridgy#adding-a-new-silo)
@sknebel raised a fascinating idea in chat today: HN has a public firehose, so we could do this service-wide, for the entire site, without needing individual users to auth Bridgy...
Also reminds me of #420 and https://telegraph.p3k.io/superfeedr
heh, sorry, it's definitely confusing. #523 is for mention posts themselves. this is for responses (likes, replies, etc) to those mention posts. related, but different. i am starting to look...
current silo support is mostly the same as #523 + #488: - **Twitter: yes for mentions**, via search; no for photo people tags, they're not exposed in the API. -...
:+1: thanks for filing! re discovering indieweb urls, you pretty much covered it. twitter, google+, and instagram actually all let you fetch anyone's profile via API, so we'd only have...
current silo support:: - **Facebook: yes** , via [`/photo/tags`](https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/photo/tags/) (needs testing) and `tagging_user`. - **Flickr: yes**, via [`photos.people.getList`](https://www.flickr.com/services/api/flickr.photos.people.getList.html) etc. - Twitter: no. [photo people tags aren't exposed in the API](https://twittercommunity.com/t/how-to-have-in-search-results-also-the-items-in-which-a-user-is-tagged-in-a-photo/120968/6)...
one interesting wrinkle here is that we'd want to distinguish between the user's own tags and tags created by other people. ideally we would only backfeed the latter. ... except...
yay, Facebook tells us, but i haven't yet found a way to determine a tag's creator in Flickr, either in [`photos.people.getList`](https://www.flickr.com/services/api/flickr.photos.people.getList.html) or nearby. @kylewm can you confirm?
https://indiewebcamp.com/tag-reply doesn't have any indieweb examples. it's possible that no one consumes `u-tag-of` yet.
